At LUPEON, we are focused on continuing to grow and move forward together with our clients, whom we consider our strategic allies, but looking back, we can see that 2018 has been a great year for the company across all areas.
Throughout these twelve months, we have positioned ourselves in the automotive sector, strengthening collaborations with large groups within this ecosystem. We have carried out important projects in the field of robotics, specializing in the lightening of robotic grippers, a field in which we are a relevant player. We have experienced growth in the development of metal applications, based primarily on materials such as aluminium and steel, and we are also proud to have taken our first steps in the energy sector. We can say that not only have we increased the number of our clients, but we have also deepened our relationship with those who saw us as partners in additive manufacturing and who have been entrusting us with increasingly relevant projects.
Throughout 2018, we have been present in the most important events and fairs of the sector at a national and international level. We have had the opportunity to present our innovative engineering solutions and continuous improvement in such important events as the digital transformation days of CEAGA, the Global Robot Expo, Metal Madrid, Universal Robot or the Extraordinary Assembly of the Galician Aeronautical Consortium, among others.
The company has also undergone a process of internal growth. New colleagues have joined the team, bringing in great talent and work capacity. We have expanded our presence in the national territory with the opening of a commercial office in Madrid. We have acquired the most innovative machines in the market in order to offer our clients the latest technology. We have reached agreements with important universities in the country to train their students so they carry out collaborative projects and take advantage of scholarships with us. And we have also updated our website with new resources in order to be more accessible in the digital ecosystem.
For all of this, the entire LUPEON team would like to thank all those clients, suppliers and other partners who see LUPEON as an ally with whom to walk hand in hand and with whom we want to continue growing.
